- Mondays and Tuesdays are always the busiest, and I need to find a good reason to make the week’s start feel worthwhile. Currently, I’m not quite ready to challenge the status of a “daily blogger.” Even when writing casual content, it still requires time for thinking and pounding the keyboard.
Today, I finished work a bit earlier, had dinner, and then went outside with my kid to jump rope and run a lap around the neighborhood’s internal roads. In a few days, a cold wave is coming again, and there might not be another night so suitable for exercise.
I’ve started testing offers and running ads again, embarking on the long and winding road. This time, luck was on my side as I tested six or seven offers and stumbled upon a promising one. So far, I’ve been running it for two days, and the data is as follows:
date | ad($) |
commission($) |
ROI |
10.3 |

83.5 |

The commissions are settling in, and the ROI is surprisingly good. According to the affiliate program’s guidelines, this offer doesn’t accept orders from mobile devices, which resulted in a lower ROI due to mobile traffic on the 13th. Today, I blocked mobile traffic in Google Ads, and the ROI significantly increased, more than doubling. However, the current bid might be too low, and the keywords need optimization, resulting in fewer clicks and insufficient orders.
The next steps are clear: allocate a sufficient budget, gradually raise bids, optimize keywords based on daily search term performance, and add more ad extensions such as additional links, images, and so on. The goal is to increase impressions, CTR, and clicks, ultimately generating more commissions through increased orders.
I won’t divulge specific details about the affiliate program and the offer, as I hope to make some extra money with it. What I can say is that it’s an e-commerce website selling sports products, and it’s quite well-known abroad, given the keywords’ traffic volume on Semrush, which starts in the tens of millions.
My target for this month is to generate commissions of over $3,000 through it, and I aim to maintain an ROI of 20 or more (with ad expenses ≤ $150).
That’s all for now.
