Regarding the progress of commission earnings, it seems that they may be slightly lower than in September. I’ve encountered a few issues, and I’d like to jot them down briefly.
Personally, what I fear the most is when Google throws a curveball.
“After all, this advertising account is like a soldier’s weapon or a chef’s spatula. Without it, how can you storm the castle or cook up a feast?
If you’re a newcomer planning to use Google Ads as a traffic acquisition tool, you might encounter many issues that prevent you from running campaigns smoothly. The most common issue is likely to be ‘policy violations.’ But today, what I want to talk about is something else.
Last year, Google introduced a new policy – ‘Account Verification’ – for some accounts. The simplest one is ‘Customer Verification,’ and there are tutorials available for it on the agency side, making it relatively easy to pass.
However, what’s headache-inducing is the ‘Business Verification’ that comes after ‘Customer Verification.’ This process is quite complicated, and there aren’t many good tutorials provided by agencies. As a result, I had an account suspended because I couldn’t submit the ‘Business Verification’ on time.
In my understanding, I had to answer nearly 30 questions to finally get through this process. Then, I received an email from Google, mentioning that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, processing times might be longer. So, until the verification was completed, I had to rely on my old account for running campaigns. I also went to the agency dashboard to register several more ads accounts, taking careful steps to test offers.
Apart from the challenging verification process for Google Ads accounts, I recently faced an issue where one offer kept getting rejected by Google. This means that I couldn’t spend money on advertising, even if I had it. The reason is quite understandable, but I won’t go into it.
The thing is, this offer is from an advertiser selling outdoor products, which makes perfect sense, right? Moreover, in the United States, owning a gun is legal, and these are hunting-related devices. However, Google insisted it wasn’t acceptable, even when I targeted it specifically to the United States. So, I had to remove all gun-related keywords and modify the titles and descriptions to remove any gun-related terms. After submitting for review and appealing, I could run the ads again.
But, within just a few days, it got rejected again for the same reason. I’m really frustrated with these reviewers (who might be curry-flavored individuals). This time, I removed all shooting-related materials and submitted for review once more. Let’s see if they approve it this time.
So, there have been constant minor issues lately, and I’ve been busy with an urgent project at work, leaving me with little time to test new offers. I’ve also been chatting with a colleague who works full-time in this field and is quite experienced, especially in the cashback website sector. In the spirit of genuine exchange, we’ve shared quite a bit of knowledge, and he’s a great guy.
Recently, a fan of my facebook public page, who seems to be a younger individual, added me on what’s app, and we’ve discussed various topics. I’m not a big shot or a guru; I just have a bit more hands-on experience than newcomers. I welcome all friends to come and exchange ideas.
Today, I’ve started a Facebook group, intending to gather and share experiences, insights, and resources related to online earnings, traffic generation, website building, affiliate marketing, and media buying. Of course, it won’t be free, but it won’t be expensive either, maybe just a few dollars a year. I’ll open it up after I’ve filled it with some content.
Remember, when it comes to making money, traffic is king. In 2023, I hope everyone strikes it rich!”
